Healing Love is one of the core teachings in the Universal Healing Tao (UHT) system, developed by Master Mantak Chia. It focuses on cultivating and transforming sexual energy (also called chi or jing) for health, vitality, emotional balance, and spiritual growth. The practices are rooted in ancient Taoist sexual wisdom and aim to integrate sexual energy into one’s overall energy system for self-healing and inner harmony. Iron Shirt Chi Kung in Central Park

Iron Shirt Chi Kung (or Qigong) is a cornerstone practice in the Universal Healing Tao (UHT) system, developed by Master Mantak Chia. It is a series of physical postures, breathing techniques, and energy exercises that strengthen the body, increase internal energy, and develop emotional resilience and spiritual grounding. "Iron Shirt" refers to the ancient Taoist concept of building a strong "energetic armor" to protect the organs and the body while cultivating physical, mental, and spiritual balance. - About the Teachers -
Jamee Culbertson
Jamee Culbertson integrates Taoist practices, Alexander Technique, and spiritual healing for transformative experiences. She is a Senior Healing Tao Instructor teaching Tai Chi, Qigong, and Taoist Meditations with the Universal Tao Boston School of Taoist Practices. Jamee currently participates in a study being done through Harvard Medical School’s Osher Center, contributing to research on Tai Chi's benefits for heart and lung conditions. She also taught Tai Chi in the Boston Home Base program, aiding veterans and their families. Jamee is an internationally certified Alexander Technique instructor and teacher trainer at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee College.

Marie Favorito
Marie Favorito, with 41 years of Taoist practice, directs Universal Tao Boston, teaching Qigong, Tai Chi, and Taoist meditations. A Senior Certifying Instructor in the Universal Healing Tao, she holds 14 advanced certifications and helped establish global standards for teacher certification. Serving on the UHT Council of 9 with GrandMaster Mantak Chia, she also contributed to Harvard Medical School’s Tai Chi cardiac rehab curriculum. Her engaging Qigong sessions at the Shift Network's Global Summits garnered international acclaim.

Sharon Smith
Sharon Smith, with 46 years of Qigong and Tai Chi practice and 41 years of teaching, is a seasoned Taoist practitioner. Trained by masters like Mantak Chia and Li Junfeng, she is a Senior Instructor Level 2 in the Universal Tao system and is also certified in the International Sheng Zhen Society. Furthering her expertise, she studied at China's Wudang Martial Arts Academy and has practiced Iyengar Yoga for over 40 years. Smith has traveled extensively, hosted and presented at The Shift Network's Qigong summits, and founded The Immortal Sisters Foundation to support women in Taoist arts.

Richard Anton Diaz
Richard Anton Diaz has been an instructor, teacher, and practitioner of the Universal Healing Tao system for over 30 years, specializing in Healing Love and Sexual Energy Cultivation practices. In 1999, he founded Sexy Spirits in New York City, a platform for sex-positive educators, where he introduced and began teaching Healing Love practices from the Universal Healing Tao system. After retiring from a 20 year career as a professional dancer he began his training in Universal Healing Tao system, and at the same time began to study Tai Chi under Grandmaster Yang Zhen Duo and his grandson, Master Yang Jun. In 2005, he became certified with the National Association of Natural Health Professionals and co-founded the Traditional Chinese Healing Arts Academy with Professor Drew DiVittorio. In 2023, he established the Infinite Life Academy in New York City, where he teaches both live and online classes and offers online courses.

Daria Faïn
Faïn began her journey in Taoist practice in 1982 with Master Karfung Wu instructing her in acupuncture principles, qigong, tai chi, and nutrition in Paris, France. From 1984-86, Faïn studied for 7 years with Dr. Jen, an acupuncturist, herbalist & martial artist (Shaoling lineage), and Chinese mental energetics with Francisco Albuquerque for 2 years. In 1996, she began studying with Master Mantak Chia, and in 2001, she received the Universal Healing Tao full instructor certificate and became certified in Do Yin, Tan Tien Qigong, Tai Chi, and Iron Shirt. Faïn has also studied for five years with Frank Allen qigong, bagua, and the Wu style Tai Chi. Faïn is also currently studying Tibetan Buddhism with Lama Tsultrim since 2016 and Adzon Gyalse Rinpoche since 2021. In 2016, Faïn created her certification program based on her approach to Chinese energetics and bodymind practices called C O R E M O T I O N, which includes, among other approaches, Qigong and the applications of Chinese energetics in daily life and creative process. Dominic Vine
Dominic Vine has been studying and teaching various forms of healing for more than 30 years. Exploring discipline and freedom, he has traveled the world to study many traditions. His primary form of healing has been bodywork, combining all of his passions. His main practices include Taoism/qigong, yoga, insight meditation and herbalism. He experiences great joy when sharing his practices with others.
